In the gym the other day and there's a guy sitting on a machine with a man bun.
Isn't it funny how we associate certain looks with certain things?
We all do that, don't we? 
Even this morning for example, i came out of the pool just as the kiddies swimming lessons started and there was a dad dropping his kid off and about to walk out. Without even thinking about it, from around 20 odd cars in the car park, i thought to myself, i bet his car is that Range Rover Sport, and sure enough.
Some people do it on purpose, to be known as belonging to a certain group. You can tell a Harley rider straight away, right?
Anyway, back to self mastery...
So as i'm looking at this guy with a man bun, i got to thinking, as i do, about the different people i've seen start on a journey of growth and wanting to become better.
There's no stereotypical look for it.
Because no matter your look, your tribe, your interests, there's one thing which is the same for all men.
A mind.
And it controls our thoughts, feelings & emotions.
Pretty common in us all, yea?
And at the core, that's where the work is done to change every single aspect of our life.
What goes on in between your ears!
I don't care what hair cut you have. What music you listen to, what your hobbies are. Your preferred style of clothes. Earrings. Tattoos.
Looks can be deceiving.
I knew a guy. Absolute fucking beast. Tattoo'd. If you were to meet him in a dark alley. You'd panic.
But...
A nicer fella you couldn't meet and you know what else?
Spent evenings crying. He'd lost control of his mind and it was playing tricks on him.
He'd lost his way. Forgot who he was. That's all.
See...
We all want to feel better & do better.
And that's what we're good at...
