Here's something i hear in home business ALL.The.Time.
I want to quit my job!
Nothing wrong with that. That's why most people start a home business. They want to live on their own terms. Great goal to have.
But...
The problem lies in doing it too soon.
You make a few sales, think you're a genius and your boss gets an email saying you're not going back.
Some pull it off.
Most wont!
Now, only you can decide what's right for you but if you've got mouths to feed, then don't be in a hurry to jump ship.
My advice would be to...
stay in your job until it's impossible to stay in your job!
ie, your business becomes soo fucking big, you lose money by going to work!
I'm telling you, you DO NOT want to be in a position where you've got no money in the bank and no sales coming in.
To get sales, you need leads. And the quickest way to get leads is to pay.
AdWords/Microsoft etc
And you can't do that with no cash flow!
That's the second of the 2 C words.
Cash Flow
See, your job provides it to live on AND fund your business until it can fund itself!
By doing it this way, it's much easier to reach the other C word too. Consistency.
Again, quite simply, the key to consistency is having someone ready to buy from you...
Every.Single.Day.
And you do this by keeping the pipeline full of fresh new leads from Google AdWords and the others.
I've put together ‘7 Simple Steps to Home Business Profits’ – A ‘Cheat Sheet’ for Home Business Dads, Hungry for Success!!!
